Privacy policy
This policy covers https://usfamilycalc.com. Family finances are among the most private figures a person can type into a website, so the calculators were built to never need them on a server. The publisher is established in France: the EU General Data Protection Regulation applies to everything the site does, for every visitor. Residents of US states with a consumer privacy law, California among them, keep at least the rights listed here.
No cookie is set by this site, and nothing is stored on your device by the calculators.
1. Who is responsible
Radif Partners
49 rue du Ressort

2. What never leaves your browser
Incomes of either parent, overnights, child care costs, a spouse's earnings, the length of a marriage, an estate's value, a weekly wage or the days you were off work: all of it is computed by code running in your own browser. None of it is sent to us, stored by us or tied to your identity. The "copy share link" button writes your inputs into the address of the page so that you can send the calculation to someone; anyone you give that link to can read those inputs, so share it with care.
3. What is processed
Hosting logs
Like every web host, GitHub records the IP address, the time, the page requested and the browser type of each request, to keep the service secure. Legal basis: legitimate interest. Retention follows GitHub's own policy.
Anonymous stability monitoring, without cookies
To find broken pages and scripts, the site loads Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, Dublin) in its cookie-free mode: errors, loading times, clicks that lead nowhere and scrolling are measured for each page view, without any cookie and without linking visits together, and the page content and everything you type are masked. Microsoft receives the technical data of the request, including the IP address. Recordings are kept 30 days and aggregates up to 13 months. Legal basis: legitimate interest in a working site (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can object by blocking clarity.ms or by writing to us.
E-mails
If you write to us, we keep your address and your message to answer you, and delete them three years after the last exchange. Please do not send court documents, pay stubs or medical records: a description of the figure you question is enough.
4. No sale, no sharing
We do not sell personal information, we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not build profiles. There is no advertising on the site.
5. Recipients and transfers
The host, GitHub, Inc., is in the United States; request data may be processed there under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
6. Your rights
You may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing, by writing to contact@usfamilycalc.com; we answer within one month. You may also complain to the Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés (CNIL) (https://www.cnil.fr).
7. Children
The site is meant for adults dealing with a separation, an estate or an injury. It is not directed at children under 13 and collects nothing from them.

Estimate only, not legal advice: the figures on this page apply the state rules published on official sites to the numbers you enter. A court order, the child support agency, the probate court or the workers’ compensation insurer decides the real amount, and a family law or workers’ comp attorney can tell you how the rules apply to your case.
